About the event
Nature Connects is a welcoming, in-person outdoor group for children, young people and their families, where there is no single right way to belong. We have a deep understanding of neurodivergence, trauma, and families who can find groups challenging.
Shaped by EcoSensory Therapy, Theraplay and Forest School principles, and delivered with a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed approach, sessions give families space to connect at their own pace. Expect shared games, sensory invitations, making, discovering and caring for the space, with choices built in throughout. Children and adults take part side by side, with no pressure to speak, perform or join in a particular way.
Qualified, experienced NeuroConnect staff support the group to feel predictable, flexible and emotionally safe. Movement, quiet time and different sensory needs are understood without judgement, and you'll have time to meet other families who get it.
